You know you’re getting old when your kids order silent ring tones that you can’t hear. Apparently, these “silent” ring tones aren’t really silent. Supposedly, the ring tones cannot be heard by people over 30 years old. No kidding my son ordered a free ring tone, that I can’t hear.

Test for yourself…. test here

Really, you can’t hear that? I can hear it… I just assumed that all the years of punk rock music would have killed my hearing… but it is clear as day to me. ;)

I hear nothing. Maybe it doesn’t work for every 30 year old, but evidently it works really well for the over 40 crowd.

I don’t hear a thing. I am also over 40. Both my dad and my grandfather wore hearing aids. I’ll probably need one someday.
